Remagener Kultur - Willi & Ernst
Josefstraße 1, 53424 Remagen
In the best tradition of Kölner-Zwiegespräche!
The two ‘Sahneschnitten’ on the wrong track: Willi & Ernst are guests at the Rheinhalle Remagen with their new programme ‘Two Penguins from the North Pole’.
Willi and Ernst know that there are no penguins at the North Pole. But they feel so lonely, alone and driven by the question: ‘How did we get to where we are and why?’
On the ice floe of their lives, they think about life and everything that is important. And because the world is changing by the minute, the two friends concentrate on the important things in life: love, friends, alcohol. And in doing so, they probably solve every problem in the world.
In small scenes and quick exchanges, the two female types try to behave in a politically correct manner, open up to new things and, despite all their physical infirmities and shortcomings, try to conquer the one female heart that is worth living for.
In their sixth full-length programme, ‘Willi & Ernst’ - Dirk Zimmer & Markus Kirschbaum - do not reinvent themselves, but rely on what has made them special for many years and what could also be seen again in the ZDF Girls' Session: comedic slapstick, Rhenish humour, improvisation, theatre, closeness to the audience, a huge portion of charm and their gifted bodies in time with the music.
