Landesmusikakademie Rheinland-Pfalz: Flöte intensiv Konzerte
Alte Schlossstraße 2, 56566 Neuwied-Engers
At the beginning of April, talented young flutists are guests at the academy. "Flute Intensive" focuses entirely on the special situations in exams, auditions, and competitions, which represent a unique challenge for young musicians each time. Of course, it is part of the program to apply the new experiences directly at the end. We warmly invite you to the final concert of the participating musicians in the garden hall of Schloss Engers. At the beginning of the course, this year the instructors will also introduce themselves musically to the participants - also in the garden hall of Schloss Engers - providing another opportunity to be inspired by the flute and its possibilities. Both concerts will take place with free admission.
The teaching team consists of three renowned flutists. Rudolf Döbler is the Deputy Principal Flutist with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra and the artistic director of the querwind Flute Festival in Staufen. Ulf-Dieter Schaaff is also the Principal Flutist there and a professor of flute at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar. Robert Pot is a specialist in chamber music and also the artistic director of the querwind Flute Festival in Staufen.
Yuki Yamakata, a répétiteur at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt (HfMDK) and well-versed in the flute repertoire, will also take on the accompaniment during the course.
