In August 1999, three talented musicians set out to prove to the world that it is possible to fill large venues with cover songs. Long before Ed Sheeran, they exchanged their electric guitars for acoustic instruments and named themselves SIMPLY UNPLUGGED. Their musical talent and drive for perfection quickly grow their fan base. Their own versions of world-famous hits, humorous commentary, and varied stage shows prove that their concept works. Even in their current tour program, Eddie Gimler, Peter Spang, and Horst Friedrich stay true to this successful recipe. Songs by the Beatles invite sing-alongs, with a medley of their greatest hits, they pay tribute to the Bee Gees, and they showcase virtuosity with pieces from classical and pop, culminating in a breathtaking masterpiece by Queen. As in previous years, they take their audience on a journey through emotions in this program as well. The three musicians manage to give their listeners goosebumps at every concert.
