Sayn Castle will be transformed into a ‘little mountain Christmas’ on the weekend of the 4th Advent from 20 to 22 December. A wide range of activities throughout the weekend with alphorn and brass instruments, winter delicacies, heavenly gift ideas and a special highlight of ‘biscuits, punch and powder snow’ will get you in the mood for the upcoming festive season.

Younger visitors are also well catered for with children's punch, a craft programme and XXL games.

We recommend using the floodlit footpath via the Traumpfädchen trail to the castle (entrance opposite the old Sayn gymnasium). Unfortunately, access to the castle by car is not possible on this weekend. A free castle shuttle will operate during peak times. Voluntary donations for the shuttle, as well as part of the proceeds from the small mountain Christmas, will be donated in favour of the Koblenz Child Protection Association.
