Weingut Volk
Koblenzerstr. 6, 56322 Spay
The vineyards are all located in the south of the Boppard Hamm. The steep slate soils are quickly heated by the sun. The wine that grows here is mineral with a fine fragrance and racy acidity. The climate is strongly influenced by the heat-storing body of water of the Rhine. The Middle Rhine is one of the warmest regions in Germany. Mild winters, an early onset of vegetation and a long growing season make for optimal conditions for the grapes. In 2002, the upper Middle Rhine Valley was declared a World Heritage Site.
