With over 650 members, VfB 1920 Linz e.V. is one of the largest clubs in the Neuwied district and is known for its outstanding youth work, among other things. Six departments offer sports enthusiasts of all ages variety and the opportunity to keep fit. In addition to the largest department, football, there is badminton, athletics, table tennis, volleyball and a department for amateur athletes. The ‘Kaiserbergstadion’ sports centre is situated in an elevated position above Linz and offers a magnificent view over the city and the Rhine. The stadium is equipped with an artificial turf pitch, a tartan track, athletics facilities, a basketball court, a small pitch (soccer cage) and a table tennis table. The facility is open to the public and is frequently visited and used by clubs, schools and private individuals. The club's clubhouse is located right next to the sports field, where many sports-related and private events take place throughout the year.
