In our Meteorite Museum of Art, you can get a deep look into the world of meteorites on more than 200 m² of artistic wall design. In addition to an integrated picture and art gallery, you can view various meteorite exhibits that originate from the asteroid belt between Jupiter and Mars. From impact rocks to tektites and meteorites, you will find everything in our lovingly designed and perfectly illuminated showcases. Let the harmonious and air-conditioned interiors in a pastel-coloured ambience take you into the unique world of extra-terrestrial matter. The highlight and centrepiece of our exhibition is located in the main room of the meteorite museum, which is unique in the world. It is a 43 kg "Campo des Cielo" iron meteorite, which was found in Argentina in 1576. Solidly anchored on a sandstone base, the heavy lump shines through the entire exhibition.
