Karmeliterkirche
Rheinallee 44, 56154 Boppard
The church of the former Carmelite monastry in Boppard is another of the Middle Rhine´s major 14th century religious architectural monuments. After Cologne (1249) and Würzburg (1250), Boppard was the third oldest of the Camelite Order´s foundations in Germany. Apart from its interesting architectural structure, the church´s carved, late Gothic choir stalls, the stone pulpit from 1460 and an elegant threeseater from 1470/80 are particularly worth seeing.
