50 years of GNOOM Festival in Rüdesheim am Rhein

Rüdesheim am Rhein – The legendary fun pub “Gnoom” will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025 with a three-day festival of extraordinary quality! From February 27 to March 1, 2025, celebrations, rocking, and dancing will take place in the premises of “Gnoom” as well as in “Hajo's Irish Pub.” Music lovers can look forward to top-notch live bands every evening, followed by a lively aftershow party.

The fun pub “Gnoom” first opened its doors on February 28, 1975. What started as an idea among friends – Hajo, Filu, Jürgen, Glüh, and others – after a trip to the Dutch pub “Gnoom” in Zandvoort developed into a success story. Back then, with plenty of goat cheese, La Boeuf, and youthful enthusiasm, it opened in the basement of Hajo's parents' hotel, quickly becoming a staple in the Rüdesheim and Rheingau pub scene.
At just 18 years old, Hajo realized “Gnoom” with his friends Jürgen and Filu. Despite their parents' initial skepticism, success brought the recognition they deserved. His mother, at that time, told him: “Just go for it, in three months you won't want to do it anymore!”

Today, “Gnoom” is a cult and a symbol of the regional pub scene. Over the last five decades, the fun pub has delighted generations of guests and made countless evenings and nights unforgettable. Now, “Gnoom” invites friends, old and new regulars, as well as the curious to celebrate this special anniversary in style and to experience the unique atmosphere of “Gnoom.”

The anniversary festival promises great music, a reunion with old friends and like-minded people, as well as the chance to experience half a century of pub culture over three festive evenings. Celebrations will take place in Hajo’s Irish Pub with live music, at Gnoom with music from well-known DJs, and in the courtyard with a food truck and merchandise stand.

The day ticket costs € 20.00, and tickets for all three days are € 50.00.
