Art Association Linz am Rhein e.V.
Marktplatz 9, 53545 Linz am Rhein
Dear visitors and friends of the Kunstverein Linz am Rhein e.V., 10 years of Kunstverein Linz am Rhein, during which dozens of high-calibre art exhibitions have been presented. With its work, events and exhibitions, the Kunstverein has shown that fine art is an important facet of our local cultural life. Contemporary visual art is primarily avant-garde art. The association is interested in this art and its communication to the public. To this end, artists are offered a forum for their work. At the same time, people interested in art are introduced to modern art. In dialogue with the artists, the purpose and content of their work and the degree of its social relevance are made transparent. They succeeded in engaging renowned artists who installed their works with breathtaking commitment. For the Kunstverein Linz, this is more than just proof that they are on the right track with their goal of making Linz a centre for contemporary art. Interest in the Kunstverein Linz grew from exhibition to exhibition. This has strengthened and spurred on the motivation, but also that of art lovers and interested parties, the people of Linz and all those who come to the exhibitions in increasing numbers from near and far. The association's responsibility is to the artists, because their work is seen as an honour and a duty to give art resonance in the local context. Presenting contemporary art is the promise, making it accessible to the public is the concern. Through their interest, their contributions and the necessary material support, the members and also the institutions form the foundation of the activities of the Kunstverein Linz. Come and see for yourself at the events how interesting modern art can be. The Kunstverein looks forward to your participation.
