"The Aaschebamche"
The Adolf Oak in Bornich is a significant landmark that was planted on August 22, 1864, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the accession to the throne of Duke Adolph of Nassau.
The majestic oak has seen many generations of residents and visitors over the years. Its wide-reaching branches provide refreshing shade in summer, and in autumn, its leaves transform into a magnificent play of colors. The Adolf Oak is more than just a tree; it is a living piece of history that continues to delight people.
On clear days, one has a wonderful view of the Rhine Valley, over the Taunus, and the Vorderer Hunsrück from this spot.
Benches invite relaxation and enjoying the view.
